1 more to go

In 20 hours 15 minutes, we will be sitting for our last SPM paper, Chemistry.
In 27 hours 45 minutes, freedom will be in the air once we step out of the examination hall.
Once and for all, tomorrow will be the last day that we will be wearing our school uniforms.
Once and for all, after 17 years of studying, our future that lies ahead means more that what we had studied.
We are just standing at a point where whichever route we take will determine our future.
a.k.a The Road Not Taken.
Think properly before you choose.
Choose wisely and do not regret the choice you have made.
That's the mistake that some of us made in the past.
Now that you have a second chance, make good use of it.
Remember, chances don't come pouring down in the rain.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You

You're just too good to be true.

Can't take my eyes off you.
You'd be like Heaven to touch.
I wanna hold you so much.
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive.
You're just too good to be true.
Can't take my eyes off you.

3 down,

19 more papers to go.

I know I can do it!
Just 19 more papers....
3 more weeks to go...
And then,

I'm Happy, For Now

Yes, I'm happy for now. Approximately at 8.20p.m last Tuesday during Ace, I received a reply from the number 15888 (familiar isn't it) . It says that,

"RM0.20: Harap Maaf! No. IC 920918-xx-xxxx tidak terpilih untuk menyertai PLKN Siri 7/2010."

And they even charged us 20 cent for checking.

When I read this, I was nearly jumping in joy. This means that I won't be spending 3 months in an isolated place while getting sunburn, and I can even spend the 3 months enjoying my holidays after SPM while finding a part time job to work (can get extra $).

To check, you can either SMS or CLICK HERE.

To SMS, type PLKN semak 920615xxxxxx (your IC no.) and send it to 15888.
All sent messages will be charged RM0.20.

If you tak kena.

If you kena.

But then..........

A few days later, I found out that the ACTUAL NS LIST will be coming out in August. I was like, 'WHAT?!!!'. Oh noooo......... Let's just hope that I will be lucky enough not to get selected for NS. But anyways, always look on the brighter side of life. If you join NS, they will give you a monthly allowance of maybe RM250-RM350 and you can get to makan at there like 4-5 times a day. They'll make sure that you won't go hungry (as if...).

Here's something I found in the Internet to cheer up those who got selected for NS and those who will be selected for it. =)

Here's something that to share with you guys. This is something I got from the picnic organized by the Youth Division. They actually framed this in a small little cute handmade photo frame. =)

Just as a spring breeze awakens tender new shoots of green,
sincere encouragement can thaw a frozen heart and instill courage.
It is the most powerful means to rejuvenate the human spirit.

Just as a diamond can only be polished by another diamond,
it is only through genuine, all-out engagement
with others that people can polish their character,
and help each other to reach greater heights.

Sunday Morning

At 6 a.m

*Alarm rings*

Aiyah... Sleep 15 more minutes la...

*Pushed the alarm button off*

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

........................................

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

......................

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

..............

ZZZZZZZZ

......

ZZ

Suddenly, handphone rings.

*Picks up the phone*

'Hello?'

'Hey, I'm outside your house already.'

'HUH?'

*Looks at the clock*

It's already 7.30a.m

OH CRAP

Oh well... There goes my transport to Kaikan. In the end, I had to ask Danny to leave without us. (Sorry for keeping you waiting. BR on the way. XD) Well, this is because we were still in bed and girls take a longer time to prepare themselves compared to guys. So, mum send us there at 10.30a.m and we reach there at 11a.m. Not to forget that the audition starts at 10a.m and we are like 1 hour late.

The audition to get into the choir group went quite well. Let's just exclude the fact that I forgot how to sing the song that I'm supposed to prepare for the audition. I'm supposed to sing 'The First of The Gang to Die' by Zee Avi. So in the end, I borrowed my sister's song, 'Hey Jude'. First, they tested us on our voice limit and range.

Do Re Mi Re Do

Do Re Mi Re Do

Do Re Mi Re Do

Do Re Mi Re Do

Do Re Mi Re Do

I sang and sang until my voice reached to the highest limit (breaking ledi, that's why so soft la...). In the end, my sis and I was categorized in Soprano group. So after the audition, me, my sis, Shayne, Danny and the twins went for lunch at Bukit Tinggi. After lunch, we bought Yu Yu Ice (Yao Yao Ping) which is super refreshing under the HOT HOT weather. I remembered once that I actually bought this drink before. It was 3 years ago, when I was practicing the marching drill for the upcoming marching competition at SMK Raja Mahadi because our school hall wasn't big enough. I remembered everyone bought the drink from the same stall after makan Bak Kut Teh for lunch. Well, I was black that time. You can try comparing me to a chocolate fountain and you wouldn't see any difference. Hahahahahaha....

We went back at around 2.30p.m. I'm glad that we manage to get through the audition and most importantly, I enjoyed myself.

Berkilat

Yesterday went for a car wash at MnX's house to cuci Danny's Cute Little VIVA and Kaang Yib's Hero. Well, it's a way of saying thank you to our dear dear transporters, Danny and Kaang Yib for sending us here, there and everywhere. Petrol price not that cheap you know these days... So we actually followed exactly what the car washers do when you send your car for a wash. We washed the cars, polished it, vacummed it (the vacumming part is done by the guys lar...) and cleaned the windows. By the way, the vacumm is like freaking small (not the huge vacumm that we normally use to clean the carpet, but a mini vacumm) , I mean it's gonna take them ages to actually vacumm the whole car, but somehow they managed to finish the job. You should see the before and after pictures of their cars. BIG DIFFERENCE.

Before the car wash - No Kilat
After the car wash - Berkilat-kilat

So after all the hardwork by us, we went to mamak for dinner. Danny belanja wan... (Thank you so much yea~!). We ordered mee goreng (single) but eventually, they served us mee goreng (double). I looked at my plate half an hour later. I still have half a plate to go and yet the others are nearly done eating. Hahahaha... I'm a slow eater, always. In the end, me and my sis ta pau-ed the mee goreng (and now it's still in my fridge).

Now, let us give a chance for the pictures to talk. =)

There goes Kelly, MnX, Shayne,

Here goes the review.

Playwright, actor, teacher and BOH Cameronian Arts Awards
nominee Mark Beau de Silva lures theatre buffs back to KLPac with his all-new play Belacan Geragok and Other Prawns.

Created by Beau de Silva and actor Ashraf Zain, Belacan Geragok and Other Prawns is based on a story about two Malaysians—Emmanuel de Cruz and Adam Malik—struggling with the trials of life and romance.

Emmanuel is originally from Ujong Pasir, Melaka, and has moved to KL. He loses his job at a TV station during the economic downturn. Adam, who has never been out of KL except for a short stint at The Malay College Kuala Kangsar, lends his dear friend Emmanuel a helping hand by coaching him through several mock interviews. Hilarity ensues as the two men’s relationship and past unfold right before our eyes.

Belacan Geragok and Other Prawns is a workshop performance that was first performed in March. Each workshop performance ended with a discussion where the audience could ask questions and share their thoughts with the two creators. The feedback and ideas were incorporated into the show you’ll get to see in May. Described as fun, snappy, and bitchy, the new and improved Belacan Geragok and Other Prawns promises to be worth a taste. Don’t miss it!

This performance is recommended for matured audiences only.

I'm Still Awake

Gosh... Yesterday, I came back from Kaikan at around 11.30p.m. We discussed about a lot of things until we lost track of time. Oh well... It's not that late for me yet. So, I got back and started my Add Maths project from scratch which I have to pass up the following day (I mean in a few hours time). Well, time passes an the next thing I knew, it was 4.30a.m already and I'm still halfway through the project. DANG~! It's freaking late and I'm supposed to wake up by 6.50a.m on the same morning. Which means I only have 2 hours and 20 minutes left to sleep before I'm supposed to wake up and go to school. Oh well, I have no choice but to do it in school during the Teacher's Day event.

Surprisingly, I woke up without the need to doze off again and when I looked at myself in the mirror, there's NO EYE BAGS! Weird isn't it? Only 2 hours and 20 minutes of sleep and I can still blog about this now. I'm not even feeling tired or even yawned in school today! Wow... Now, how I wish I had the whole day for myself everyday and I don't even have to waste time sleeping.

Talking about Teaher's Day, Theresa bought a card for our class teacher and asked all of us to sign it. May Qin decorated the card with really, really colourful Sharpie markers and she is also very good in drawing. Especially when it comes to anime. She wrote something that fits a Chemistry teacher.

Pn. Tey 2+ + 5 Cekap 2009 2- = Pn. Tey 5 Cekap 2009

LOL~! There's performances from many bands, singing and the funniest part was when a group of Form 4 guys presented a song that they composed to Mr. Selva, the actually did it like the PCK style. The lyrics was funny. Everyone was laughing non stop and I think that that was the best performance ever. So, the grand finale was the fashion show performed by some of our teachers. And obviously everyone did it in pairs (guy+girl). The outcome was nearly getting a sore throat and being deaf. And finally, I managed to finish my project on time, thanks to the online answers given by some fellow students who obviously doesn't want us to be burdened by this project. =)

Happy Birthday~!

Today's Theresa's seventeenth birthday. So, Sha and I was planning to give her a surprise after school at her house. So, we went over to Taipan and got her some cupcakes from Berry's. It was already 3.30p.m and we were in front of her house. Crap... It looked as if she was still out for lunch because all the doors were locked and the carporch was empty. No sign of anyone at home. Oh well... So, I called her.

"Hey Theresa... Are you eating lunch now?
Where are you now?"

"Where am I? I'm in my bed now."

"What?!? You are at home?"

"Yea... Why?"

A few seconds later...

"Ooh... I see you outside!"
*Laughs*

"Where?!? I can't see you!"

(This is because all the windows outside her house were tinted.
How stupid of me...)

So, in the end, we got into her house. Her parents were out, so it's only us and her aunt at home. And me and Sha were making so much of noise (sorry ar aunty!). Amazingly, it took us like nearly 15 minutes just to get the candles lighted. This is because Theresa had only a 12 year old box of match and no matter how many times she tried lighting it up, it wouldn't even produce a spark. So in the end, we used the fire from the gas stove just to light up a candle on the cupcakes. (How desperate!)

So, here's something for you Theresa~!

HAPPY SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY~!
. . . . . . . . .

MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Stay sexy always~!

(LOL!! It rythms)

Chinese New Year 2009

As usual, during Chinese New Year, we visit our relatives, our relatives visit us, the unmarried ones get ang pow, we makan and makan non stop and most importantly, the family reunion dinner. The best part is, we, as the 'kids' get most of the fun, the ang pows and the food. For your information, my dad has 9 siblings and most of the them are married and has kids. I can't imagine all of them hogging up the space at my uncle's house. Maybe they'll fill up the living and the dining room. Usually, when my cousins and I was a kid, during the family reunion dinner in Perak, the adults will sit at the huge round table and we, the 'kids' will sit at the small wooden table beside the big table. And the adults will have their 'adult' talk and we children will have the 'children' talk. Well, that was years ago.
